That's right! The Giveaway's 1st birthday is coming up in June and there is no other way to celebrate on The Giveaway than to give you all the chance to win lots, and LOTS of prizes! The count right now stands at just over $1500 in prizes! I will be combining them to make big prize packages for our winners!

And every single day we will be giving away a Door Prize Package to the people that entered the giveaway for that day! This is HUGE! I'm so excited :D (can you tell I've been bursting to tell you all?)

The birthday bash is going to run June 5th-June 12th. Eight days of fun and party-ing!


AND, if you put the button up for our Bday Bash at least two weeks prior to the bash starting, you will get an extra extra entry into any Birthday Bash giveaway you enter! (since you will get an extra entry already for the button being up for the entire birthday week) The button and code is located at the bottom of this post. If you want that extra entry, leave a comment on this post stating that you put the button up, and then remind me for each giveaway you enter during the bash.


Here's the lowdown on what's going to be happening during the Bash:

Friday, June 5th:
At 6am PST we will start off with our 1st Annual Birthday Carnival! Anyone and everyone that is running a family-friendly giveaway on their blog during The Giveaway's birthday week can add their giveaway to the list as long as they put the special Carnival button in their giveaway post, or on their sidebar and link it back to the main Carnival post that will be up on June 5th.

PLUS, everyone that joins in and links their giveaway, will be entered to win a fabulous prize package! You get one entry for every giveaway that you add to the Carnival! Just our way of saying 'Thank You' for celebrating with us! The winner will be chosen on Saturday, June 13th.

Everyone that lists their giveaway on June 5th will be entered to win that day's Door Prize Package as well!

Saturday, June 6th:

We will be starting our Favorite Birthday Moment Photo Contest! In the post we will have a widget up that will enable you to submit your photo for everyone to see! You will also be able to share the photo and story behind it on your blog for an extra entry as long as you link back with the special Photo Contest button that will be provided.

The contest will end on Friday, June 12th at 11:59 pm PST and the winner will be chosen on Saturday. The winner will receive a special Birthday Prize Pack!

Everyone that submits their photo on June 6th will be entered to win that day's Door Prize Package as well!


Sunday, June 7th:


We will be having our 1st Birthday Scavenger Hunt! I will be placing a this hat picture into 20 of my review posts. For every picture you find you must come back and comment stating which post you found it in. To avoid any cheating, blogger comments will be disabled and we'll only be using the Official Entry Form. So you will get up to 20 entries, as well as extra entries for all the regular extra entry stuff :)
The Scavenger Hunt will end on Friday, June 12th at 11:59 pm PST. The winner will be chosen on Saturday.


Everyone that enters the Scavenger Hunt on June 7th will be entered to win that day's Door Prize Package as well!

Monday, June 8th-Thursday, June 11th:

We will be having a giveaway starting each day featuring several prizes from different sponsors. They will run like our regular giveaways, except for the fact that you will be able to gain a lot more extra entries than usual. This will be explained in each post. They will all end on Friday, June 12th at 11:59 pm PST. The winners will be chosen on Saturday.

Everyone that enters the specific giveaway that starts for that day will be entered to win that day's Door Prize Package as well! (For example: Everyone that enters Monday's giveaway on Monday will be entered for Monday's Door Prize Package) (wow, there's a lot of Mondays in that sentence)

Friday, June 12th:


The last event for our Bday Bash is going to be a LIVE giveaway! The Grand Prize Pack will be HUGE, as well as the door prize for this last day. How will it be live you ask? The 10,000 commenter will win! That simple :) Though there will be rules, namely that besides your first initial comment you will get your regular extra entries.


For your extra comments after that you will need to go to the sponsor sites, and come back and do seperate comments for items you like on their site. They will be giving away so much, they definitely deserve it! (I suggest having one window open with sponsor sites, and the live giveaway open so you can look at the sponsor site, comment, look again, comment, etc.)

Once we get to the 10,000 comment the giveaway will be over. The 10,000 commentor will win, and then a random number will be chosen using random.org to determine who wins the Grand Door Prize Package!


All the winners will be announced on Saturday, June 13th!
